Light Up the Night

Join thousands of friends and Neighbours across Prince George and Light the Night to ring in the New Year!

Now in it’s 5th year, Light the Night is a community celebration on New Year’s Eve that lights up the sky with home-based fireworks creating a one of a kind show in our community. Partial proceeds from all fireworks purchased between now and December 31 2024 go to support the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43 in Prince George, BC.

Here’s how you can be part of the celebration:

Purchase your fireworks from Starlight FX. Choose from the special Light The Night fireworks cakes! These are single-light fireworks anywhere between 9 – 100 shots or more.
At 9pm on December 31st, light your fireworks.
Sit back and enjoy the experience as the Prince George sky lights up!

Q: How do I get my fireworks?
A: All fireworks will be available for pick up at the Connaught Youth Center, between December 29th to December 31st. There will be a scheduled pick-up time available for you to choose after purchasing.

Q: Can I purchase Fireworks, if I have not pre ordered?
A: Yes, there will be fireworks on hand to purchase at the Connaught Youth Centre. You can purchase with Cash or Card 😁
